Robert (Bob) VanHimbergen serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Elanco Animal Health, overseeing financial operations including treasury, investor relations, tax functions, information technology, and transformation.

Bob brings extensive experience in large multinational corporations. He joins Elanco from Hillenbrand, where he has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2022. His career includes a significant tenure at Johnson Controls International plc, where he has served as Vice President, Corporate Controller since December 2017. With over 15 years at Johnson Controls, he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Financial Officer of Yanfeng Automotive Interiors in Shanghai, China. Before Johnson Controls, Bob spent nearly a decade with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, working with large multinational manufacturing companies.

Bob also actively engages in non-profit organizations, maintaining deep connections to Midwestern values. He holds the position of Chairman for the Ascension Southeast Wisconsin Board and the Ascension Wisconsin Foundation. Additionally, he led the 2023 campaign for the American Heart Association in Milwaukee, WI, and has previously served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations in Milwaukee. He was recognized as one of the 2021 Milwaukee Philanthropic 5 award winners.
