According to Cargill’s 2025 Protein Profile, meat consumption rose 7% in the United States from 2018 - 2023 and looking forward, 61% of Americans plan to increase their protein intake. Similarly, the most recent Power of Meat Study found that animal proteins, including eggs, chicken and beef top the list of foods that Americans view as protein-rich foods. As the world population continues to grow and demand more animal protein, the animal health industry must continue to deliver innovative solutions that help farmers continuously raise the nutritious and delicious food to feed a growing population.

Utilizing on-farm data and peer-reviewed science, UpLook™ identifies key drivers of an operation’s carbon footprint and tracks the progress of sustainability efforts. This tool integrates seamlessly with carbon marketplaces, allowing farmers to certify their emissions reduction efforts and generate carbon credits for sale. These credits can then be sold to downstream customers or end users, creating a financial incentive for sustainable practices.
