Leave it Better™ is inspired by the universal desire of farmers and ranchers to leave their land, their livestock, and their business better than when they started.

Cattle producers have made great strides in improving the sustainability of their operations. They focus on continual improvement, so they have a viable business to pass on to the next generation. Despite the diversity of farms, ranches, and feedlots across the nation, every operation is united in their desire to leave land, livestock, business, and facilities better than when they started.

Examples of the Leave it Better™ initiative include:

Elanco’s partnership with Ducks Unlimited. An investment of a minimum of $50,000 annually from 2021 through at least 2023 to help purchase grass seed in support of the USDA Farm Service Agency’s SAFE program to restore grasslands.

Educational content to support producers’ sustainability efforts. Elanco is committed to helping producers learn more about their craft and how to “Leave it Better™” through educational articles, videos, and participation in industry events.
